The repair of a leaded glass entry door panel for a residence in Puyallup. The primary focus was the replacement of damaged sections while maintaining the original aesthetic of the entryway.
The restoration required a precise glass match to ensure the new panes blended seamlessly with the existing vintage textures. This involved sourcing specific art glass that mirrored the opacity and grain of the original pieces. Once matched, the damaged glass was carefully removed, and the new pieces were hand-fitted into the existing lead came structure ensure the unit is weather-tight and secure within the door frame.
