Beginning Stained Glass<\/strong><\/span>
\nTwo-day workshop:
\n10 am to 3:30 pm
\nLimited to 5 students
\n<\/strong>Minimum 4 students<\/strong><\/p>\n

Join us for this special two-day weekend class.
\nYou will learn (or refresh your skills) in the copper foil method.<\/p>\n

Get hands on training preparing the pattern, cutting and grinding the glass, foiling and soldering.
\nYou will finish up with a zinc frame, hanging loops, and patina (if desired).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

We will provide the patterns. (Your choice between three different 10\u201d x 16\u201d panels.)
\n\u00bc\u201d zinc outer-bar and patina provided.<\/p>\n

This special class will be five hours on Saturday and five hours on Sunday.
\nBe sure to pack a lunch or snack!<\/p>\n

Class given by Rose Metcalf who has over 30 years of experience in the stained glass industry.<\/p>\n

\nFoil (7\/32\u201d) black back suggested
\nSolder (60\/40 solid core)
\nFlux<\/p>\n

Tools<\/strong><\/span>
\nGlass Cutter
\nBreaker pliers and optional Running pliers
\nLathkin
\nSoldering iron with temperature control and stand
\nSafety glasses
\nOld towel (hand or kitchen type)<\/p>\n

Please Note: Wear long pants and closed toe shoes.
\nIf you are pregnant or nursing, please do not handle lead or solder.<\/p>\n
